Something that is not talked any enough when thinking about what is considered a traditional dress of any nation, is that often the look that people think about when they think about a specific dress of a specific nation, is that the look is of an arbitrary selected point in time, of a selected group, in that nation.

    I mean, sure, you have some common elements, like the plis (white hat) of Albanians, but even that, the form changed shape and even color from one family and village to another.

    Even today, if you look at female traditional clothing, they tend to change from one village to another, literally a few miles apart. Let alone throughout all Albanian speaking lands.

    Therefore, what is accurate is really subjective, is what I am trying to say.
