YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS. It is important for the Republic of Armenia to attend the BRICS Summit in Kazan at a high level, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a parliamentary question-and-answer session with Cabinet members on October 23.

“We have adopted a balancing and balanced foreign policy, and with this logic, we participate in the meeting in the ‘3+3’ format. It is crucial for us to be present at various discussion platforms, to share the views and positions of the Republic of Armenia with different partners, and to listen to their messages, especially since the BRICS summit addresses the problems of the Global South. I believe that this agenda is directly related to the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan said.

According to the Prime Minister, the BRICS summit will provide an opportunity to present the “Crossroads of Peace” project.

“The fact that I received an invitation from the President of the Russian Federation personally and accepted it is also a significant motivation. I believe that being there is important for the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan added.
