Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Prosus (AS:), which rose 1.79% or 0.70 points to trade at 39.71 at the close. Meanwhile, DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) added 1.77% or 2.00 points to end at 114.75 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) was up 1.23% or 0.27 points to 22.23 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aegon Ltd (AS:), which fell 1.11% or 0.07 points to trade at 5.89 at the close. Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:) declined 1.04% or 0.31 points to end at 29.48 and ASR Nederland NV (AS:) was down 0.74% or 0.33 points to 44.06.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 63 to 38 and 11 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.84% or 1.29 to $71.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.80% or 1.34 to hit $75.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 1.10 to trade at $2,747.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.08.
