The eleventh artist in our Who Is series for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is Annabelle Ats from Estonia.
13-year-old Annabelle Ats was born and raised near Tartu, the city that was named European Capital of Culture in 2024 and that also hosted Eesti Laul last year.
Annabelle has been taking singing and piano lessons since she was younger, showcasing her passion for music. She is not new to the stage, as the Estonian public got to know her when she won the 11-13 category of the ETV singing competition “Tähtede Lava”.
Annabelle is not only passionate about music, she also loves sports and outdoor activities. Her specialty is the 60 Metre Sprint.
Annabelle was the first participant of Junior Eurovision 2024 to be revealed. She is going to represent her home country in Madrid with “Tänavad” (The streets). The song is written and composed by Sven Lõhmus, who has written four previous Estonian Eurovision entries – “Let’s get loud” (2005), “Rändajad” (2009), “Rockefeller Street” (2011), and “Verona” (2017).
Arhanna represented Estonia last year on its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She finished 15th with “Hoiame kokku”.
