Friday October 25th at the Graakjaer Arena in Holstebrol, Denmark, the local fighter and undefeated WBC bantamweight champion, Dina Thorslund, will face the tough Japanese bantamweight champion of the Eastern and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) and three-time world challenger, Terumi Nuki (15-5/10KOs).
At 31 years old world champion in two divisions, with an undefeated record of 22 victories with 9 KOs, current unified bantamweight champion, Great Dane, will seek to defend her World Boxing Council crown for the third time and take another step towards achieving her dream of becoming unified champion of the division.
Her rival, Terumi Nuki of Japan, has considerable experience, Â as she has contested various world crowns in the past.
She is the current bantamweight champion of the Eastern and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) and is aware that this may be her last chance to become a champion, so she is very motivated for this fight.
This Thursday, both warriors passed the official weigh-in without any problem, registering 118 pounds each.
