The U.S. presidential election hinges on seven key battleground states. Polls indicate Kamala Harris will win 226 electoral votes and Donald Trump 219, but 270 are required to secure the presidency. The seven swing states collectively account for 93 electoral votes, which will determine the final outcome. Pennsylvania, with 19 electoral votes, is the most crucial, followed by Georgia and North Carolina (16 each), Michigan (15), Arizona (11), Wisconsin (10), and Nevada (6). Multiple combinations are possible to reach the 270-vote threshold. This interactive map lets you explore various scenarios to visualize different possible outcomes.

* Between 2020 and 2024, the U.S. electoral map (i.e., the number of delegates elected in each state or congressional district) has undergone changes. California, for example, has gone from having 55 delegates in 2020 to 54 in the 2024 presidential election.
Thus, the ‘2020 RESULTS’ option shown here shows, by default, the states that Democrats and Republicans won in 2020, but the sum of electoral votes is according to the new allocation of delegates that each state and electoral district will have in 2024.
