China GDP growth slows to 4.6% in Jul.-Sep. quarter China’s economy grew by 4.6 percent in the July-to-September period from a year earlier, but the pace of expansion was less than in the previous quarter.

The National Bureau of Statistics said on Friday that growth in inflation-adjusted gross domestic product slowed from 4.7 percent in the April-to-June period.

A prolonged slump in the real estate sector and sluggish domestic demand are acting as a drag on the world’s second largest economy.
