North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said North Korea will not hesitate to use its force when its sovereignty is violated by South Korea, calling the South a “foreign and hostile country.”

The North’s state-run Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) said on Friday that Kim made the remarks while inspecting the headquarters of the 2nd Corps of North Korean army the previous day.

Kim reportedly said that the North’s explosion of roads linking with South Korea means not only the “physical closure but also the end of the evil relationship” with Seoul which persistently lasted century after century.

Kim added that the explosion also means the complete removal of the useless awareness about fellow countrymen and unreasonable idea of reunification.

Kim then warned that if the North’s offensive forces are used in the precondition of “if,” it constitutes legitimate retaliatory action against the “hostile country,” not the fellow countrymen.
