  1. They shouldn’t have sided with the Germans in the war if they didn’t wanna be pushed out

  2. The good news form Aberdeen, they have more or less been able to remove the grey’s. there is still a lot of work to be done though.

Red squirrels have made a huge comeback in Ireland in the last number of years, due to the return of the Pine Marten.

Pine Martens’s can hunt the Grey squirrel a lot easier as it is heavier and less agile than the native red. Red squirrels can evade the Pine Marten by going onto small branches.

  4. Red Squirrels are all but extinct in Canada, it seems. ~37 years ago, I cared for a baby Red Squirrel years ago after the tree they lived in was cut down and the mother abandoned them. I haven’t seen one in years now

  5. As an American im familiar with Hull’s reputation but not the plight of the red squirrels. Why are they on the decline?

Making a comeback here in Ireland thanks to the pine marten chewing the heads of every grey squirrel they catch.

  7. They keep saying we have red squirrels in Northern Ireland, I only come across grey squirrels.
