I’m fine with them talking to the few reasonably good journalists that they still have. It’s the Hannity types that can go suck an egg

  2. lifeisweirdmydude on

I cannot with this clown interviewing her. We’re less than 10 minutes in, and he’s interrupted her probably two dozen times already.

  3. HardToBeatRichard on

Their strategy is always talking over her and interrupting her and not letting her finish. I can tell you from first hand experience that most Republicans do this. Don’t let the intelligent people speak in an attempt to sound smart in comparison.

The interviewer is stepping on every answer, so I’m not sure what the point is. It could have been a decent interview.

  5. Let’s be honest: any answer she gives is gonna be 1000-fold better than what anything Trump will give because it’s more substantive to begin with.

Let’s not be too hard on her or even Bret. Bret is doing his best to satisfy Fox and others by interjecting once in a while. But he does let her speak when she needs to speak.

We know most of MAGA won’t be watching this anyway out of spite.

To me the win is the fact that she’s breaking through onto their turf.

Put him on his heels with Dominion. Call out his medical records. Hang Mike Pence etc. for Christ sakes

  7. This is a Faux News hit job. She probably shouldn’t have agreed to show up to this $hitshow.

Shows you just how scared Trump is of debating Harris a second time.

He wouldn’t even do a Fox-moderated debate – the same place that interviewed Harris and didn’t even let her finish a sentence.

What they just showed from the Fox interview showed her not taking any shit and clarifying what actually happened (Carrot Caligula threatening the “enemy within” with the US army against the public) versus the cherry picked bullshit Baier tried to spin on her.

She got aggressive but maintained her class. Well done.

The strategy: coherent, focused, grounded and coming with receipts. They tried to take her down and the DA came out.

    Get em Kam!

I don’t think it went great but I’m really glad she did an interview with a hostile network. I wish she had fully answered more of the questions but the substantial stuff she did say I liked. One of the most important aspects of the interview for me was she was able to show strength in not letting herself be talked over or shut up by Brett

  12. Kamala won another debate in a landslide. I wish it would have kept going, but Fox News producers had to cut it short.

The beginning on immigration started off rough. She had her normal answers, he stepped all over her interrupting her and she was getting (rightfully) annoyed.

She landed it with the enemy within comments

  14. She didn’t give them *any* material to work with. She owned Brett Baier – put a collar around his neck, clipped on a leash, and walked him around the block. It was cringe to watch him flailing during the interview. You know that she dominated when Fox isn’t even showing many excepts. They’re just talking about it incredulously.

I find it offensive that they let Donald Trump ramble on and lie, and don’t interrupt or cut him off the way they did with her

  16. Dude just spoke over her as much as he could. Felt like he was trying to minimize how much she could say because the audience might hear ideas that were verboten.

  17. Who else wants the Harris campaign to post about the interview being the highest rated interview ever on Fox (if it was) just to trigger Trump?

  18. General-Cover-4981 on

They need to stop running and hiding from their core platforms which are popular with most people

  19. She did win in a sense: being visiblr to the very few “magaots” that blindly listen to Trump who will realise she is not evil, not a Marxist and they even may think she is not that bad a human person. As Trump used “They” to instillate paranoia as a communication weapon, seeing her on their preferred network could be beneficial.

  20. She handled herself well during the interview, despite the interviewer being rude and frequently interrupting her. It seemed like he talked more than she did, which made them appear intimidated by her. It’s good to see the media beginning to address Trump’s mental decline.

  21. She did good. That “interviewer” was straight trash but even so…she still did good. Trump has been cancelling interviews. He’s weak. His base are bitter cultists and tribal R’s. Not growing.

  22. People say Harris is courageous to go on a unfriendly network to deal with tough questions.

Well, I disagree. I think Harris is courageous to go on a network and deal with morons and douchbags that most sane people would cross the street to avoid walking by them.

  23. She looks young and vibrant next to Trump.

Meanwhile Trump is explaining away his aging brain by saying he isn’t rambling he is “doing the weave”

  24. The mistake is legitimizing them as an honest network with journalistic ethic…Should have spend the interview reminding them of the $780 million settlement because they didn’t want to go to trial for lying about the last election.

  25. esoteric_enigma on

Bauer should be ashamed. This isn’t even an interview. He’s just harassing her. He won’t even let her finish answering a question.

  26. Republicans are saying she didn’t answer questions and just deflected obviously watched an edited version or just skimmed it. As for deflecting at all, maybe one of you can point me to the interview where Trump admitted he made a lot of mistakes and that the problem was him, and not Democrats because I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

  27. Smallville1938 on

I’m watching the full interview on YouTube now. I just scrolled through the comments section and wow. Trump people are absolutely idiots. Alot of people saying they need someone who can give clear answers then praise Trump. These people are unbelievable. I’m so ready for him to lose and go away forever so we can start getting past his bullshit.

  28. ballrus_walsack on

Pete buttigeg explained it: he goes on Fox News to reach people who aren’t watching the media he might prefer. He may reach a mom or daughter or son in the same room with their MAGA husband/dad. Those people are unreachable any other way. Kamala Harris is doing the same thing.

  29. I’m sorry to curse about this, but Bret Baier needed to be bitch-slapped. I’d volunteer. What a rude, disrespectful, self-important prick.
