Saizeriya says worker data may have leaked in cyberattack Japanese restaurant chain Saizeriya says some of its employees’ personal data as well as sensitive corporate information may have been leaked in a ransomware attack.

Saizeriya says the personal data includes that of its workers, both full- and part-time, as well as its business partners and some job applicants.

The company says data on customers who accessed the firm’s consultation service and work-related files may also have been stolen.
Customer credit card information was not affected.

Saizeriya says it’s not disclosing details such as the contents and amount of data possibly leaked because an investigation is under way.

The chain operator is asking customers and others not to open suspicious e-mails, as they may be from those who are misusing the leaked data.
