  1. I wonder what their plan is when they inevitably get ignored by the PMO. It was previously stifled by promises of changes which never happened, so they likely want something more substantial, but Cabinet Ministers or Telford won’t be shuffled out. Most likely the bluff will just be called, since they’ve never valued backbencher opinions

  2. I think Trudeau is more likely to trigger an election himself than step down. I think he wants to take on PP and will do it sooner than later if he has to.

  3. This just feels completely dilutional on the MPs part. If Trudeau didn’t resign when it made sense for him to do so, he’s not going to do it now 6-12 months out from an election when he’s regularly reiterated that he’s staying on for well over a year now. He effectively locked himself in for the election with the 2023 federal budget. If either he himself wanted to resign or the Liberal caucus was serious about ousting him, they should have acted months to years prior to that.
