This pollster is well known to be biased towards DK. Another recent poll also shows TISZA edging towards Fidesz and is almost within statistical error.
Of course, the state propaganda is on constant anti-TISZA offensive but to little avail it seems.

Fidesz lost from 54% to 39%? that’s good News.

Yeah, the TISZA is pretty much near FIDESZ by all opposition measurements, and in general FIDESZ has done an amazing job to humiliate itself again and again. They are masochists

I think hungary has a bonus for the strongest party, so TISZA would be behind by far in this one too

What are the chances for the strongman to be legally overthrown by his right former compatriot?

OMG, if Tisa manages to form a coalition with the rest of the parties, thats 61% and Orban loses!

Hungarians want Orban. Still after all these years
Obviously Hungarians on Reddit disagree, but they don’t represent the average Hungarian

I want to believe this. but then I remind myself that Fidesz has supermajority in the parliament and can modify the elections act anyhow they want.

Idk if Mi Haznak 5 % is good or bad. These guys look to me like even worse version of fidesz.

I’ve heard Fidesz changed the election system in their favour, how high does TISZA have to win to dethrone them?

Orban might just be the most incompetent dictator ever. With PiS failing in Poland and Fidesz in Hungary, we might watch the concept of “illiberal democracy” instead of straight up dictatorship fail.

Hopefully by next election the war in Ukraine will be won and this would deny Orban one of it’s main traction of votes

Don’t worry, they will make even these numbers be worth a 2/3 majority in the parliament

Russia and China will flood orban with money to keep the corrupt in power. They want Hungary to be a Belarus inside eu
dark color: voters who will 100% vote in the next election.

That one poll appears to be an outlier, however, the trend does seem to be in Tiszas favour: [POLITICO Poll of Polls — Hungarian polls, trends and election news for Hungary – POLITICO](https://www.politico.eu/europe-poll-of-polls/hungary/)

Hungary has a 5% electoral threshold for the PR seats. If we eliminate all parties below the threshold, then we’re left with Fidesz 45.4%, Tisza 40.7%, DK 8.1%, and MH 5.8%. Of course, PR seats are only like 1/3 while 2/3 of seats are FPTP. If all opposition parties teamed up against a hypothetical Fidesz/MH/Jobbik bloc, it would be 55/45 split for the opposition.

Can anybody from Hungary tell me what’s going on there? I can understand Russia and their society and how historically it looked, but what’s wrong with Hungary and their love for Fidesz ?
You have free access to EU and info from other countries. Even with propaganda you can access feeds from other media, I doubt internet is censored. EU is also funneling quite a bit of money for your growth, similarly to what happened here in Poland. So why is this going on with Orban for so long ? Is he so charismatic and beloved by our southern brothers ?
I really want to know the inner workings on Hungarian political scene. I totally gave up on Turkey, because culturally they follow a different model, so to each their own. But Hungarian scene should be similar to our polish. Is there any chance for an opposition coalition ? Any chance on breaking away, same as we did with PiS ?
