Scientists date moon’s oldest impact basin to over 4.32 billion years ago

I have a question about craters on the moon, I can ask here right?

How are there impact craters in the middle of the side facing us? I guess meteors or whatever can come in at an angle and impact our side that way, but wouldn’t the craters be not so perfectly circular? Or maybe they’re not impact craters at all, just wondering.
