SS: Before comments calling this fake start poping up, the article has the video with Justin Trudeau admitting this.
While testifying before the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions in Ottawa, Justin Trudeau stated that while they don’t have any hard evidence regarding India’s alleged involvement in Nijjar’s death, India should cooperate with Canadian intelligence and support the investigation to prove India’s innocence.
While it might sound counter intuitive it’s not unheard of. Back in the 1960’s, when Kennedy was assassinated; the assassin’s ideology was revealed to be Marxist Leninst, and he was from the USSR. The Soviet Premier Nikita Krushev had immediately ensured that the KGB be completely open with the investigation to prove that the USSR was not behind the assassination.
So, this can be seen as par of the course however, Justin Trudeau did openly call out India whereas even at the height of the cold war, USA never directly accused the USSR for the assassination; at least not directly.

“Some South Asian MPs were insistent that it was likely connected to India,” Trudeau said. He did not name who those MPs were.”
I see that’s an Indian news outlet. And “admits” is editorializing with a loaded word to suggest previous deceit. That’s not exactly what Trudeau says on the video.
