(boring post) shoutout to Die Post stamps

Just wanna take a minute to shoutout DiePost and their impeccable stamps.

I’m not like a hardcore collector but every so often I send an oldschool paper letter or postcard, and consistently Die Post stamps are cute as hell.

I mean hello, the John Howe Lord of the Rings collection?? I had so much fun sending these to my friends.

It really feels like whoever is curating the stamp artwork has an eye and appreciation for great design. They’ve even got a Swiss inventions series that celebrates every day objects like the humble garlic press. They have all the impact of a street poster but shrunk down to a few cms.

I just think they’re really cool and add a little spot of joy to your day. Seems like a very Swiss thing to take a normal, boring, every day object or activity and elevate it with thoughtfulness and good design.
