An article appeared yesterday in Novi List with the director of BINA, where he claims that people from PGŽ and Istria have the right to preferential payment of €1 for the tunnel. Has anyone ever paid €1 for a tunnel? Statement: "As for our local population, mainly residents of Istria and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County who regularly travel through the tunnel due to the need for schooling, work, and sometimes to go to health facilities, we maintain a special program of benefits for which passage is guaranteed for the price of one euro". We tried to call BINA and get an answer, but they did not want to comment on that statement.
