  1. so important point to note that he wasn’t a Canadian citizen, in fact he was denied Canadian citizenship multiple times

and to those saying he was citizen via marriage

Canada has no concept of citizenship via marriage

The Vancouver Sun quoting unnamed police sources had reported immediately after the attack that it was a contracted hit off the dark web that the police had known of and made the victim aware of before the hit. This information was then never repeated. The police who are routinely seen in the area didn’t respond for 15 minutes after more than 60 bullets had been fired.

There is a lot more here than anyone is willing to admit.

Postmedia has learned that the police are looking at two potential motives — that Nijjar was killed because of his Khalistan activism, or that it was related to a more local political dispute in Surrey.

Another source said a contract on Nijjar had been circulating for several weeks on an encrypted online site used to hire gang hitmen.

That source said so many middleman would have been involved in arranging the murder that it may be impossible to track the person or people who plotted it.

[Look at the marked difference in how news of Chinese interference in Canadian elections was handled.](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64813182) Despite the implications being far greater the response is muted.

Assuming the evidence against India is as good as Trudeau insists, could Canada have had a private negotiation with India and obtained a favorable trade deal instead? Wouldn’t that be more reasonable?

Why did Trudeau go public with allegations when there’s even less evidence than with the Chinese which he sought to downplay?

Cui buono? Who benefits from India and Canada relations going sour? China seems like a prime candidate.

Does China possess the capability to fool five eyes with a false trail that points at India?

Intelligence isn’t evidence, evidence isn’t proof. Of the thousands who were locked up in black sites including Guantanamo only a few dozen went to trial and only five got convicted. Even with the liberties allowed to interrogators at such sites proof was hard to obtain. Advisors to Trudeau would have surely pointed this out. You don’t bet international relations on hearsay.

Whatever I’ve outlined is open-source and logic 101. The experts surely figured this out on day one, for whatever reason they have chosen to let the media run this dog and pony show.
