They persuaded the mayor of Fidesz to take on the action factory, and now they are pulling the rug out from under him

A new chapter in an important political conflict that has been going on for years opened at the beginning of October, when the Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development Tibor Navracsics announced that starting next year, the government will take a part of the local business tax from the municipalities and give this amount to the districts. The Fidesz mayor of Debrecen and Balassagyarmat, among others, did not like the proposal, while the mayor of Székesfehérvár, who was critical of the government’s previous, similar actions, supported the idea.
