  1. One thing I learned from years of sampling Guinness abroad. It often looks pretty good, especially when poured and presented well. First sup can be pleasant as well.

    But the true test of a proper pint is – and I hate to use the term – the shtick factor, its ability to hold good flavour and creaminess all the way down. Even when it has come up to room temp a little. It’s in this regard that you just can’t beat the pints in Ireland.
