I agree! I reckon a lot of Aussies did this as a kid. Probably less likely now since they closed the shops/restaurants there and people don’t have much reason to walk that way

It was said* that if you walked down one spiral, around the centre circle 3 times while making a wish, you would emerge from the other spiral ramp into another world where your wish was already true.

Has been a major disappointment since I figured out at age 7 that you can’t slide down the spiral. The new kids park and water jets are way better though.
