Unpopular opinion; these will be a good boost for Brisbane, higher capacity busses with 3 x wide doors are significantly better suited for the busway then the legacy busses. Higher capacity and faster boarding times through wider doors reduces dwell time at the bus stops.
Exsisting busses will now be freed up for other routes around Brisbane.

Metro is an absolute joke. They are busses running along an existing Busway. It solves nothing.

As someone who has zero ability to use trains I’m interested in getting more buses past my front door. As the transport gurus say the first and last mile problem needs to be better solved.
