Please. He’s never going to return to relevance. He used to be a fairly moderate pragmatic Republican that wasn’t crazy and tried to tell it like it was. When he was still himself, he might have come out against Trump, but any cross-party goodwill and respect totally vanished when he fecklessly bent the knee and kissed the ring. No one is ever going to forget such weakness, and he’ll forevermore be tainted by Trump’s stench.
