I don’t think he hates immigrants, i think his supporters do. Most of the issues to the GOP are red herrings and lip service. The only thing they care about are tax cuts (aka money). In the end it’s all about $$. A few percent tax cut to me is barely noticeable. To someone making millions of dollars every year, a few percent is a massive amount.
