This is something that is only going to get worse as time goes on, because as technology becomes increasingly important in healthcare, its going to become more fragile to attacks or risks of instability.
The government needs to take such things more seriously and invest more in the NHS IT, because at the moment its pretty much outsourced to third-party contracts and glued together using a whole lot of “thoughts and prayers”.
We’ve seen previously how the entire system can be reduced to paper and pencil, and entire hospitals and machines can be made redundant, THIS MUST not be allowed to contine to be left as an underfunded service.
