The yellow area was formerly German/Prussian territory I presume? Anyone know how it got so low in the first place, did Prussia have anti-jewish laws/ expel Jews at some point?

Just today i saw a map of Poles in pre WW2 Germany, in Danzig they were less than 5% in that map.
