  1. early predictions suggest they’ll discover that, surprise surprise, the people at the top are completely innocent and it’s all just a misunderstanding

They seem to do a lot of reviews but without much changing. Basically just a token gesture.

It’s the same reason for abuses of power in every other British industry… A tiny number of people paid obscene amounts of money because there is no opportunity for anyone else and, as a consequence, zero competition.

When no one else can gain necessary qualifications and experience and wouldn’t be given a chance anyway by the chums at the top, and when it’s so hard for complainers to get another job, the superstars can behave as they please.

  4. This is like me launching a review into my ability to self control and not eat the ice cream in the fridge.

I’ll finish the report and get to the bottom of it after one more spoon.

Like the review they should have taken while Jimmy Savile was working at the network????!!!

After a thorough and comprehensive review we have determined that without doubt all the directors, business partners and investors were totally innocent of any wrongdoing and all of the problems are from a ‘few bad apples’.

Bit Late now isn’t it? Lmao you’ve let the horrible ones do it since the 80s for fuck sake

  8. They’ll be taking all the tories off the board then will they. Abuse of power if ever I saw it.

High profile staff members will get a pass though, they’re too precious and loved for their deviancy to come to light, they must be protected for the good of the institution.

Darren the junior IT guy on the other hand, well, he’s fucked, especially with that joke he told at the Christmas party.

  10. “These highly paid and exceptionally lucrative celebrities gaslit and abused us higher-ups into accepting their shitty behaviour, honest. We have a robust internal harassment reporting process that really does work. Victims did come forward years ago and stuff and we did all we could then, trust us.” – BBC internal review summary.

  11. “We have investigated ourselves and have found no wrongdoing, thank you for your cooperation”

  12. They could not pay talking heads more money than some people will see in twenty years per year, that might curb their ego’s a bit.

It’s insulting to my intelligence that BBC news pretends to be completely impartial when reporting about the BBC.

Every institution with power that has the chance to investigate themselves will always “find no wrongdoing”

At this point I’d rather see the BBC gone and replaced. It seems rotten to the core.
