I think he has unfortunately passed, but I’m not 100% sure, I’m in Rouse Hill.

I’m hoping, maybe he’s just unconscious and knocked himself out, but it doesn’t look like it if I’m honest.

What can I do? Who should I call?

    You can call WIRES. 1300 094 737

They may tell you to take it to the nearest vet.

However if it isn’t moving or at all responsive, it’s probably gone unfortunately.

  2. A little marinade of coriander, lime and cumin, fire up the bbq and serve with warm tortillas, radish and pico de gallo

Get in contact with Wires. If it is just knocked out, it’ll fly off after it comes too. If it’s dead, they’ll tell you how to deal with it (usually involving newspaper and a garbage bin).

It’s a (dead) Welcome Swallow *(Hirundo neoxena)*. Just put the body in the bin.

    Mate, it’s dead.

Chuck it in the bin and say a eulogy or something.

If it was a native and still alive then you call WIRES.

  6. Give it some time.

I’ve had this happen a few times and just assume the things are dead. Sometimes it takes a while for them to come to.

  7. This is a Swallow, not a native species. Doubt WIRES will rescue an introduced species. Best to give him a quick burial.
