A 59-year-old man, a primary school headmaster, was caught red-handed on suspicion of running on a footpath in Fukuoka Prefecture wearing shorts with holes in them and exposing his lower body.
The suspect, Yasuhiro Matsuo, a primary school principal in Chikugo City, is suspected of exposing his lower half of his body on a footpath in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, shortly after 6 am on 10 October.
On 8 and 9 October, a witness reported that someone was running with his lower body exposed, and when police were on the lookout in the area, they identified the suspect Matsuo, who was running wearing shorts with holes in them, and arrested him in the act.
Upon investigation by the police, the suspect Matsuo denied the charge, saying that his lower body was exposed but he was not trying to show it.
He also stated that his ‘shorts had a hole in them from a week ago.’
