Hezbollah actually thought they’re going to be fighting the 2006 war again. They loaded up with AT weapons and IEDs and expected the IDF to charge into it blindly with armor and infantry.
The difference this time is that air superiority means 24/7 surveillance, and they can be picked off before they even get into position. Add to that the fact they have no leadership anymore and you realize they’re going to lose far more than last time.
