People often assume they have all the info they need to make a decision or support an opinion even when they don’t. A study found that people given only half the info about a situation were more confident about their related decision than were people given all the information.

Were these people told they’d only been given half the info? Logically it would make sense to be more confident of an opinion on a seemingly less complex situation.
