    The old mountains (Appalachians) are small and the young mountains (Rockies) are large. Ponder the immensity of Time.

  4. Turkey in the South and Caucasus below Russia would be a great addition to Europe. Would look like a funny natural barrier in the South East of Europe

    What is the point of a topographic map if it isn’t literally just showing the relief as it is, visually? Tibetan plateau looks like it’s 1/3 as tall as India is long, but that would be 1000 km. That’s not how tall it is.
