I’ve been looking around the internet when I stumbled on this political organization that I haven’t heard of before and was wondering what their values are, from a Leftist/socialist point of view
What's the (Cypriot) Left's take on Union of Cypriots?

Looks like they changed name used to be Liberate Cyprus that’s what I remember
Cypriot Left and generally all parties are not pro unification…. The vast majority of the parties are pro bizone Bicommunal Federation… Which essentially gives context and protocols to the current status quo…
Isnt’ that the association of Oz Karahan? Wikipedia says he is the president of them. Oz has the Cypriot citizenship by coincidence. He is half Turkish, born in Turkey. He appears to hide his origins in Greek Cypriot media and did not reply to the questions about his origin in the AMA https://www.reddit.com/r/cyprus/comments/1cvi310/comment/l4phwav/. If he was born in Cyprus, he would be counted as settler second generation. He is a total hypocrit.
And he has a staunch stance against anything else than other than full unification of Cyprus without any distinction between GC and TC. He is agitating against other more realistic solution models, in particular the bizonal bicommunal federation (BBF).
Not sure if I’m a “left/socialist” but what I can observe is that this stance is unrealistic, much too dogmatic and therefore counter-productive.
