  1. This deforestation won’t end until there’s nothing left to clear cut. Humanity has the technology to create new solutions, but the status quo of convenience and profit won’t allow anything to move forward as a sustainable substitute. It’s been confirmed for decades: we need our trees and old growth.

Long live the chainsaws, it’s not like we need fresh air on this planet to sustain life

Yippee can’t wait for humanity to die out. What a joke of a world we’ve created for ourselves lol. We care more about made up currency than we do just improving stuff for everyone🤡

  4. Romanian here. These days we have savy antrepreneurs that torch forrests planted with funding to hide the fact the money was stolen( but said forrests appear in statistics) and plant feromone lures in any areas to attract bugs to kill the trees so they can be cut. This is in an european country, albeit a paragon of corruption. I can’t even imagine the solutions other countries come up with to keep killing our planet.

  5. Remember: deforestation and forestry is not the same. Deforestation is when you remove forest without planting it back, in forestry you take care and re plant and follow the rules etc….

Many people seem to not get the difference.

We need to stop the deforestation in rainforests.
