To the mountaineers (the 7 Rila lakes)

Do you know an optimal path that bypasses the lakes by continuing to walk beyond the final destination without returning the same way? 5 guys we made a full circle around the lakes and climbed some peaks on the other side. We didn’t see a path, and just walked where it was most convenient (steep slopes and pebbles). I wonder if there is a marked path or if we just somehow managed to do it? In my opinion, the views from the improvised route were much more beautiful than the commercial trail.
