Ok I’m proud of that one. I was going to go for the rather more obvious play on Lidl, but I couldn’t really think of one.

Seeing as shoplifting is legal for all practical purposes, what’s the actual incentive to try and be honest. I could save thousands by just stealing my groceries.
It’s not like we have any social structure left to apply social shame as disincentive.
Horrific person. She needs locking up while she detoxes completely.

3 strikes and your out….or in the case of the UK 172nd strike and you’re free.

If we gave drugs away for free on the NHS then she probably wouldn’t have any convictions.
But this is much better isn’t it.

Wonder if she’ll steal something extra fancy for the big 200

With how this country treats shoplifting, if she’s been convicted 172 times she can’t be very good at it.

Remember everyone, the sooner she is released the better – harsh sentencing is **not** an effective deterrent. If we introduced harsh consequences to crime, all these prolific shoplifters would do it even more.

I actually work in a shop she regularly targets. Comes in in a big hat and long coat which she’s cut the pockets out of and fills it to the brim with literally anything from legs of lamb to chocolate to candles to razor blades. She doesn’t discriminate, and between arrests is in most days, she’s pretty easy to spot and never really kicks up a fuss when caught, she’s never been violent with any of us and just seems like a sad junkie. Part of me has sympathy for her, she’s not even in our top 10 most violent Shoplifters. That’s Fenham for you!
