I just moved into a new apartment in Berlin and it has this old flat radiator. It clearly needs to be bled cause only the side with the pipes get warm and the other half stays cold. Has anyone had to deal with these before?

You need pliers one or two depends, and leave it on 5 while loosing the thermostat head not all the way but just a little you will hear air coming out, put something under radiator like towel and so when the water comes out let it out for couple seconds and then tighten it again. Turn off the heating and back on 5 again. I hope this helps, tried to explain it best I can
