The Foreign Interference Commission: China is far and away the biggest actor in terms of foreign interference in Canadian elections, both in terms of scope and sophistication. While other countries such as India, Russia and Iran also engage in this activity, none of it amounts to much in comparison to what China has done, is doing, and will continue to do.
There is very credible evidence that much of this interference has been in favour of the Liberals.
This would, of course, be the same interference that the Liberal government has done its absolute best to ignore, then downplay, then create a fake enquiry over run by Trudeau’s former cottage country babysitter, then, finally, after years of effort, an actual public enquiry.
Meanwhile, there was one report about the Russians paying off some fringe right wing influencers — and I’m not saying that’s fine, just putting it into context here — and suddenly that’s the ONLY thing Liberal supporters care about or want to talk about.
