    Some of these require an asterisk. Both the flags of the Netherlands and Nepal have changed over time.

    And where is the Scottish saltire, for which a good argument can be made that is in fact the world’s oldest national flag?

    While the overall base design of the Argentinian flag has been the same all througout, it had some changes througout the years. During the Argentine Confederation for example the colour was a darker shade of blue and it had four phrygian hats floating around, and there was also a time when the sun was not present (As it was reserved for the Flag of War).
