This weekend at work I overheard so many people in passing & I thought I was gonna be SICK – all these people who believe Trump when it comes to the aid going to the hurricane relief vs the money going to the migrants or the lies about the Democrats plotting assassination attempts…I thought these people were kidding. But they weren’t, and I don’t know how to feel now. I have that same awful feeling I had in 2016.
I’ve tried so hard to have faith in other people but these past few weeks I’ve just lost it. I don’t think other people are bright enough to know what these republicans are doing or if they even care. Trump has no guardrails this time, just lunatics like MTG, Elon Musk, the Huckabee’s, DeSantis, Johnson, Vance etc who will do whatever he says.
