recently moved into a flat, is this cable connection for internet? (basement). Would i get instant activation if i go with vodafone?
How much time does Telekom need to enable a DSL connection instead?

If everything is in order Vodafone needs about a week to get the connection working. This time includes sending you the router.
Telekom needs about the same time. Maybe a little less if you have your own DSL router.
Or you can their the local shops to see if they might have a router for you and can speed it up.
