Chrome Canary just killed uBlock Origin and other Manifest V2 extensions

    If you still use chrome you clearly are just low hanging fruit waiting to rot off of the tree. Probably love the trump too. Good riddance.

  2. It’s not like this is surprising, anyone who uses Chrome/chromium browsers was warned about this year’s ago when they started talking about removing v2 support.

    Since uBlock Origin Light and AdGuard adhere to the Manifest V3, they will continue to work on Chrome.

    I would argue that if you want to be free from advertising, perhaps using a web browser created and distributed by the world’s biggest advertising company Is not the wisest strategy.

  6. i was begrudgingly using firefox, but installed a betterfox user.js and i have no regrets, super fast and smooth

  7. I just switched over to Edge from Firefox a couple of months ago. Unpopular move, I know, but Firefox was utilizing too much system memory and I couldn’t figure out how to deal with it. I actually like the features Edge offers though.
