Poor Ivan. It must really suck to be smart enough to figure out that you’re being ordered to certain death for no reason whatsoever and to know who’s responsible, but to be too fucking stupid and cowardly to get together with your fellow serfs and figure out how you can take out the officers who are ordering your and your comrades to die.
Revenge may be tastiest when served cold, but revenge before the fact can be pretty damn sweet.
