After seeing the recent map claiming 91m as the mean elevation for Cyprus, I decided to check. The data suggests it’s closer to 300m. This map also breaks it down by district. Tool is QGIS, data from JAXA, function is "zonal statistics"

Mean value is skewed by extremes. Median would be more informative.
