Separation of church and state, politicians can’t make money from their office, peaceful transfer of power, respect of immigration as a base of this country, and so many more.
There is nothing conservative about this movement. They are radicals. Militant, religious nationalists who will change this country into something entirely new and not one that most Americans want to live in.
That shouldn’t sound good to anyone, even if you support republicans. A country divided into a radical religious group and an opposition is not going to be a safe and stable place to live.
