    Perhaps gravity in a “smaller” universe behaved differently? I wonder how much longer before we really understand what happened immediately after the big bang.

    How do you define “amazingly fast”? It’s somewhere around 300 *million* years after the Big Bang. The universe cooled and was no longer opaque after 380K yrs. 300M is still a long time, half of what it was once believed but not an order of magnitude. Just offering a little perspective.

  3. The cited research is kinda disproving the big bang theory, but apparently they’re not allowed to entertain that idea.
