Some nitpicks – First, it isn’t a wild claim to say you shouldn’t be persecuted for mistaking deepfakes for regular pornography. You are innocent until proven guilty, and we shouldn’t be throwing that out the window to block a tiny loophole. Second, claiming men want a ‘society where women can’t reject them’ feels wildly out of touch with reality for anyone outside the misandrist echo chamber.
However I appreciate the article addressing that the majority of the perpetrators of this Telegram incident being underage does *not* make it better, and is in ways much more worrying than if it had simply been a bunch of adult incels. I’ve seen attempts to downplay the severity of this incident because these were students and they didn’t know better and therefore somehow it’s not so big of a deal? If anything we should be doubly concerned for the future of our country.

Calling concerns about widespread sexual crime ‘misandry’ reminds me when Pakistani rape gang happened in UK. Every Twitter users and the Guardian readers concerned more about potential Islamophobia than actual crime that already happened.
