If a Gulf state supports the Palestinians it’s because they absolutely want to avoid at all costs Palestinians settling in their territory. They have a habit of trying to topple host countries governments and starting civil wars.
Qatar really wants to avoid that, and is first in the line to support them.

I travelled through Doha recently several times. Al Mourjan Business lounge was always full of Jews (all with side locks and typical hats) and they looked pretty relaxed. Based on this experience I wouldn’t say that relationship between Qatar airways and Israel is tense 🙂
