I have a solar system and use very little grid energy, which makes the “spike” system completely useless to me, as it’s based on an average for your specific home. The joke is I’m actually contributing more than most as I’m feeding in to the grid during these peak times. I complained about this to them a while ago but they’ve made no changes.

these spikes are a complete scam
Was an Origin customer for many many years and only just changed to another provider. They have become quite shit. Too much fluffy bullshit on a now expensive supplier.
Solar Analytics showed I would save about 20-25% moving to a cheaper provider so off I went.
