Well.. if one country is allowed so is Iran by that logic. Isreal cant bomb everyone around them and act like the victim when retaliation happens.
Either you can or you can’t defend yourself.

Hezbollah is basically Iran’s proxy in Lebanon, and if Israels whole defence is they are targeting groups within countries (i.e. Hamas and Hezbollah) rather than the countries themselves, then wouldnt Iran have every right to attack Israel? Arent those Israels own rules and justifications?
Also, it is getting pretty naive of everyone if they think the October 7th attacks were “out of nowhere with no prior reasoning as to how it could have happened” Please read up on the history of this conflict.
It is all terrible tbh and I dont think anyone is thinking clearly anymore in this conflict. The few making the decisions of many.

Do the million Lebanese displaced due to Israeli bombing have a right to defend themselves?
Do the millions of Palestinians living under a Israeli dictatorship have a right to defend themselves?

Thank you JT, the IDF now has the blessing of Canada to act accordingly. I was fearing they were holding back because Canada didn’t make a statement.

As a lifelong Liberal donator, canvasser and voter, even I’m finding it impossible to defend Trudeau.

[Twice as many](https://www.readthemaple.com/polls-show-gap-between-canadian-public-opinion-and-parliament-on-israel/) Canadians reject the Israeli genocide of Palestinians as support it. Taking their side while they’re attacking Iran is fucking insanity.
We **need** to get foreign influence out of Canadian politics.
